Dawn’s story is rooted in a lifelong passion for planning and creating beauty. As a child, while most kids played games, Dawn was meticulously planning weddings out of store catalogs and magazines, arranging details that only she could envision.

This innate drive followed her into adulthood. After graduating high school, Dawn discovered a profound love for the world and quickly enrolled in travel school, graduating at the top of her class. Her professional journey began with a pivotal moment: applying for an internal travel planner position only to be told she lacked the experience to even call the agency. Instead of being deterred, Dawn saw an opportunity. In 1997, she immediately quit and launched her own full-service agency: Secret Rendezvous Travel.

Soon after establishing herself in the travel industry, family and friends began inquiring about her planning skills for their weddings. Driven by the same passion, Dawn founded Infinite Elegance Weddings & Events.

​

Working both professions was a natural fit. Dawn frequently found herself planning both the destination wedding and the honeymoon for her clients, ensuring a cohesive, perfect experience from engagement to arrival back home. Recognizing the profound synergy between these two endeavors, Dawn officially merged her two successful ventures in 2013 to create the unified and powerful brand: Rendezvous by Dawn Event Planning and Travel.
